About Estrogen Patch Tracker

Estrogen Patch Tracker follows the 2026 shortage of estradiol patches in the US and Canada: every brand and generic, in every strength, with what the shortage lists, the FDA, Health Canada and the makers say about each one, and when they said it. It is written for the people trying to fill a prescription, and for the pharmacists and prescribers helping them.

When the shortage began we found news stories, telehealth blogs and two official sources that disagreed, but nowhere that put every patch and strength side by side with a source and a date. So we keep it here, check it every week, and add what readers tell us they found at the pharmacy.

We are independent. We aren't the FDA, Health Canada, ASHP, a pharmacy, a telehealth company or a drug maker, and none of them approves or pays for what we write. We aren't doctors or pharmacists either: we report what published sources say, and nothing here is medical advice or a reason to start, stop or change a treatment.

How we work

Every figure on this site comes from a source we link to: the maker, the regulator, the government or published research or reviews. We check pages regularly, and each page shows the date it was last updated. If you spot something wrong or out of date, email hello@estrogenpatchtracker.com and we'll fix it.

We don't accept payment to change what we say about a product, and we never claim to have tested something we haven't.
